This piece continues my desire to paint overtly sexual themes that are dark, ambiguous, raw, honest, doing justice to the energy of the acts and not a romanticization. Like the Animus Solo triptych, you'll get better view at different angles. Here's a video showing some of the metallic quality:

This piece was the result of researching and meditating on the vast, expansive, and eventually fallen Egyptian dynasty. It's humbling to think of a civilization being destroyed after 2,000 years, now represented more largely by pop culture references than anything else.
